I am so excited my first peony bloom of the season.Since I have been staying close to home to be with Maggie I have been obsessing over new garden projects.All this dirt will soon be grass...I hope.
I have also been working on the backyard hill. It is hard to see but the pachysandra and sweet woodruff are thriving.
Zoey loves her porch. Lately she has been trying to catch a rather large bee.
Zoey, " I'd rather catch bees than kill snakes like some fool dog I know."
Lucky,"OMG I'm so tired. But I know Zoey is jealous because I killed the first snake of the season today."
Zoey, " Sorry Lucky/snake wangler I have no desire to get bitten by a copper head again. The snakes are all yours.
