A Gift from the Sea By Ann Morrow Linbergh.......
July 5, 2007 The sea does not reward those who are too anxious, too greedy, or too impatient. To dig for treasures shows not only impatience and greed, but lack of faith. Patience, patience, patience, is what the sea teaches. Patience and faith. One should lie empty, open, choiceless as a beach -- waiting for a gift from the sea.
July 6,2007 Only when one is connected to one's own core is one connected to others, I am beginning to discover. And, for me, the core, the inner spring, can best be refound through solitude.
The South Pacific set in process. Patience is imperative this week because South Pacific opens on Thursday and have a few things to finish.
After a VERY long weekend I just wanted to stop by to let you know I am thinking of you.
And I am in total agreement with Ann Morrow Linbergh... Our core truly is best found through solitude.
I think we could all use a bit more solitude, don't you? :)
And Susan your South Pacific set looks breathtaking.
All of that beautiful rich color...
Everything looks fabulous!

The sets you all create are just amazing...what an effort to put these shows on with the kids. What is Megan doing for this one?
It has been too hot here, but my daughter and I worked in the yard all day yesterday. Maybe just trying to sweat out my sadness that my boy went back to his home in Colorado. Good thing my days are so full right now...
Can't wait to see photos of the kids on the set :)
