Move That Bus
Today Allison and I were able to experience the move that bus day. It was a very crowded, hot and we were sprinkled intermittent showers. But with that said I am thrilled we where able to share in the grand finale of the week. Allison deserves a toast for a job well done.
What an incredible amount of perseverance she has exhibited through out this week. Several mornings when I woke up I prayed Alli would say Mom I am tired I think we should stay home today. Instead she would say well Mom if YOU want to stay home today I guess we can. No I did not stay home and I told her I was thrilled to volunteer another day. I really did want to spend another day at the site, but I was tired. With each passing day I was more thrilled, delighted and overjoyed with Allison's ability to work in overwhelming environment.
CONGRATULATIONS! That must have been a delight. I'm trying to think of what would be a commensurate experience for me, but I can't think of anything that doesn't involved being outside! Which is OUT - and I don't want to spend a week with needy writers or actors trying to finish a project in a ridiculously small period of time - and, WAIT - oh no - well, silly me. Glad neither of you dehydrated.

This must have been amazing. It has been so exciting reading about it! I have seen the show a couple of times when my kids were watching it. I will make it a point to watch the premiere in September! I do remember really liking the show...I think it made me cry!

Susan, I am awed at how selfless you were in all of this, and how incredibly generous of you to get up every day and take part in this for Allison.
She looks like she is on cloud nine.
Isn't it amazing how when you give unconditionally it always ends up that you receive something marvelous in return?
You must be so proud of her, and I am so proud of you... you WORKED !!!!
love you susan...
