Reading
I have just started reading One City A declaration of Interdependence by Ethan Nichtern. Ethan is the founder of the The Interdependence Project in New York City. The book opens with this quote........
It really boils down to this:that all life is interrelated. We are all caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied together into a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. We are made to live together because of the interrelated structure of reality......Before you finish eating breakfast in the morning, you've depended on more than half the world. This is the way our universe is structured, this is its interrelated quality. We aren't going to have peace on Earth until we recognize the basic fact of the interrelated structure of all reality.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
When will society reach this level of understanding. No I am not advocating socialism I still feel that democracy is imperative. But when will we learn to appreciate each others differences. It seems so much of the world and certain religions feel the need to shove their ideas down our throats. When will the world be filled with compassion and understanding?
All I know is my children liked each other today and allowed me take pictures of all four of them together.....my small miracle. ( I have a huge smile on my face)
I had nothing to do with the hats that was all their idea.

Personally, I like the hats.
