There are two parallel tasks in spiritual life. One is to discover selflessness, the other is to develop a healthy sense of self. Both sides of that apparent paradox must be filled for us to awaken.
I am finally back home after being gone for a month. I was able to photograph my favorite item in my studio. This my entry for studio friday, my favorite item in my studio. The item is my beautiful mirror top table which is not practical I simple love the table.

Oh never worry that something that inspires you is practical!! Most often things that are impractical are more inspiring than things that are! I'm glad you love your table and that it inspires you. Just think... if you had a table in there that you hated, you'd probably not go in as often!!
